Library Visit
I went to the Lakewood Library (Angelo M. Iacoboni) located at 4990 Clark Ave in the City of Lakewood since its walking distance from my house. Its a single level buliding attached to City Hall. This library has a variety of sections from fiction, non-fiction, a very good reference section. In the entrance they offer brochures on various programs offered throughout the city of Lakewood (parks, malls, busline etc). I found that they offer a variety of materials like DVD's , Books on DVD, Music Cd and other collections. They also offer online catalogs, public access to the internet and meeting rooms for rent. I really enjoyed my experience the staff was nice and helpful and variety of services and information offered. Never thought the library could be fun and interesting. When i walk to city hall to paybills i find myself going into the library just to see what's new or for the quite atmosphere. What i like to see here is the large section for children which you find a lot sitting down reading or checking out many books to read. They have such a friendly staff who is always willing to assist you with locating the materials you need. They not only offer bookclub for children, but adults and seniors. Since taking this course i find myself walking to the library more often than before plus its good exercise.
